The Islamic Republic of Iran and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela will strengthen further their cooperation to fight imperial aggressions, said Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro on his Twitter account @NicolasMaduro.
President Maduro twitted this message following a telephone conversation he held with Iranian President-elect Seyed Ebrahim Raisi.
“I held a telephone conversation with Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, president-elect of the Islamic Republic of Iran. We agreed to strengthen further our brotherhood, cooperation ties to move forward with the joint fight against the imperial aggressions against our countries,” wrote the Venezuelan president.
Iran and Venezuela have focused on different areas to expand and develop their bilateral relations in order to face the U.S. blockade imposed on both countries.
The two countries share the premise of fighting imperial aggressions, and they will continue setting an example of how to move forward despite adversities and attacks.
