During an official visit to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, the Vice-Prime Minister of the Republic of Cuba, Ricardo Cabrisas, held various meetings on Wednesday with representatives of the national Executive.
The also co-president of the Intergovernmental Commission of the Cuba-Venezuela Comprehensive Cooperation Agreement met with the People’s Power Ministers for Productive Agriculture and Lands, Wilmar Castro Soteldo; for Health, Carlos Alvarado and Electric Power, Néstor Reverol.
During these meetings, which took place at the main headquarters of the Ministry of Agriculture in the Venezuelan capital, the authorities evaluated the bilateral cooperation mechanisms in the fields of agricultural production, health and electricity.
These meetings between government representatives of both nations ratify their ties of brotherhood and solidarity, and are framed in the Comprehensive Cooperation Agreement signed between Havana and Caracas in 2020, with the aim of consolidating programs and projects in the fields of health, agriculture. education, electrical energy, culture and science, among other areas.
