On a Conviasa flight, a total of 88 nationals arrived this Wednesday in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, from the Republic of Ecuador, on a new day of the Plan Vuelta a la Patria, which has managed the voluntary return to the country of more than 25 thousand Venezuelans for the family reunion, after being in a situation of vulnerability in different nations of the world.
Álvaro Navarro, one of the Venezuelans who is part of this group of beneficiaries of the airlift, showed his excitement at being reunited with his family after three and a half years out of the country. “We went out to explore and we had experience but we realized that there is no such thing as Venezuela and we value that”.
For his part, the Head of the Venezuelan diplomatic mission in Ecuador, Pedro Sassone, said that “it is truly a joy every time we have to arrange this farewell process. You return to Venezuela, to your homeland that awaits you and our authorities will welcome you”.
He stressed that the Plan Vuelta a la Patria is unique in its kind. “There is no other program like this, there is no country that does these things that we are doing. For you, return is a right and for us it is an obligation to accompany you in this process”, the diplomat emphasized.
