The Foreign Vice-minister for Africa, Yuri Pimentel, held on Monday a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa to Venezuela, Joseph Nkosi, to review the bilateral, multilateral cooperation agenda.
The meeting took place at the headquarters of the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry in Caracas, and served to strengthen the fraternal ties between the two countries and move forward with their integration.
In the context of this integration, Vice-minister Pimentel recently met with South Africa’s Deputy of the African National Congress, Zolani Mkiva, in his fourth official visit to Venezuela.
Currently, Venezuela and South Africa have different agreements for the development of strategic areas. In recent years, the two countries have strengthened their cooperation, solidarity-based relations in different international scenarios.
