A cordial and productive meeting was held in Mexico by the delegation of the Simón Bolívar Institute for Peace and Solidarity among the Peoples (ISB) with Enrique Dussel, Argentine writer, Doctor in Philosophy and History, with whom they discussed the political situation that Latin America is experiencing.
At the meeting, which was attended by Guillermo Barreto, an ISB researcher, and Andrés Eloy Ruiz, a member of the diplomatic mission of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Mexico, they exposed the work carried out by the ISB to promote Latin American unity, the goals and activities that are developed as part of the formative accompaniment of the people.
In this regard, the promoter of the Philosophy of Liberation, considered that the change of subjectivities and the formation of youth is vital if the transformation processes of the region are to be consolidated.
In addition, Dussel offered a series of considerations and recommendations for the ISB to strengthen educational programs that allow new generations to approach liberating thought.
These meeting days are part of the visit that the ISB makes to the Aztec nation, framed in the elections of June 6, 2021. It is estimated that 94 million 800 thousand Mexican men and women participate in this process for the renewal of 21,300 positions of popular election.
