Venezuela’s Executive Vice-president Delcy Rodríguez, in the company of the Co-Chair of the Russia-Venezuela High-Level Intergovernmental Commission, Yuri Ivanovich Borisov, visited a photo exhibition at the PDVSA La Estancia facilities featuring the timeline of Russia-Venezuela fraternal relations.
Later, the two authorities held a meeting as part of the Russia-Venezuela High-Level Intergovernmental Commission in order to strengthen the exchange of ideas and new strategies for development.
The meeting focused on aspects of the Bolivarian Economic Agenda to boost programs, plans and projects. These bilateral agreements have reached a high, geopolitical level to guarantee the two countries’ wellbeing and move forward with the construction of a multipolar world.
Likewise, the Venezuelan and Russian authorities assessed their cooperation mechanisms to fight COVID-19, including the three Sputnik V vaccine shipments received by Venezuela. Also, they reaffirmed their will to work based on the respect for their countries’ sovereignty.
Likewise, Russia supported the efforts made by the Venezuelan Government for an independent foreign policy and counteract the US empire’s attempts to violate Russia’s and Venezuela’s independence.
