Venezuela and Cuba strengthen brotherhood relations amid difficulties

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the Republic of Cuba strengthen their brotherhood relationships based on respect and solidarity every day, despite the constant imperial onslaught that seek to undermine the sovereignty of both nations.

“Today we have had a busy agenda, in which we have been able to verify that nothing can beat our brotherhood relationship, founded by Commander Fidel Castro and Eternal Commander Hugo Chávez, inspired by Bolívar and Martí. Nothing has been able to defeat our cooperation!”, Highlighted the Executive Vice-president of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, from Havana, Cuba.

Likewise, she indicated that 2019 was a stellar year for both nations, because it was shown that Venezuela and Cuba are truly united, “I hope the world can develop in this way of brotherhood, that when someone needs the other, the other is there to aid as it is demonstrated by Cuba and Venezuela in the fight against COVID-19 and in all sectors.”

Venezuelan people elected a new parliament

Given the recent congratulations from President Díaz-Canel to Venezuela for the new National Assembly (AN), the Vice-president indicated that this parliament “came through a democratic and transparent election, in which the people decided.”

She pointed out that the Government of the United States (USA) did everything to prevent the elections, “because they knew the results, they burned the voting machines, they sabotaged gasoline but the election was held. The people spoke clearly and loudly again.” , she asserted.

The brotherhood relations maintained by both nations, through the Cuba-Venezuela Agreement, is an alliance for development, the welfare of the people and peace.
