This Thursday, the designated ambassador of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, Sebastián Michel, presented his Copies of Credentials to the People’s Power Minister for Foreign Relations of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, as part of the diplomatic accreditation process before the Latin American country.
The formal meeting took place at the Casa Amarilla Antonio José de Sucre in Caracas.
Ambassador Sebastián Michel was a spokesperson for the Movement Toward Socialism (MAS) during the campaign for the general elections on October 18, elections in which that party won with 55.1% of the votes.
Michel was already ambassador to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in 2019 when the de facto government led by Jeanine Añez decided to break the diplomatic and brotherhood relations between both countries.
The Bolivian diplomat is also a lawyer and an agricultural engineer. He served as Vice-minister of Communication Management during the second government administration of former President Evo Morales.
