Days of the Plan Vuelta a la Patria 2021 begin with 124 returnees from Argentina

At the beginning of the special days of the Plan Vuelta a la Patria in 2021, this Sunday, January 3, a total of 124 nationals from the Argentine Republic returned to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, through the Estelar airline.

At the end of the repatriation operations in 2020, promoted by the Bolivarian Government headed by President Nicolás Maduro, on December 30, 125 Venezuelans who were also in Argentina returned to the country, totaling 249 compatriots in the last two flights from this southern nation.

The nationals who arrived at the Simón Bolívar International Airport, in Maiquetía, received all the biosafety protocols suggested by the World Health Organization (WHO) and decreed by the Venezuelan State to prevent the advance of the COVID-19 pandemic, therefore the PCR test was performed and they will also comply with the respective isolation until obtaining the results of the diagnostic study.

As a result of the global health emergency due to the new coronavirus, the Plan Vuelta a la Patria deployed special operations to facilitate the safe return of Venezuelans who had been stranded or in a vulnerable situation in other countries, due to contingency measures, For this reason, the Bolivarian Government, through the People’s Power Ministry for Foreign Relations, expanded the scope of flights in recent months.
