Iran’s Ambassador to Venezuela receives the Francisco de Miranda order in its first class

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, awarded the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the country, Mostafá Alaeí, with the Francisco de Miranda Order in its first class for his diplomatic work and performance of functions that advocate respect to the self-determination and sovereignty of the peoples. Accompanied by the Foreign Minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, the ambassador went to the office one of the Miraflores Palace, where the Venezuelan president received him to deliver the distinction that was created in 1939 to honor the services destined to country progress. Brotherhood and solidarity relations between Iran and Venezuela were ratified with this visit. Both nations maintain important strategic alliances in agroindustrial, energy matters, being part of OPEC and the countries that make up the Non-Aligned Movement. The anti-imperialist character of Venezuela and Iran caused the United States to impute unilateral and coercive measures against these countries.
