The Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela firmly condemns the systematic use of illegal unilateral coercive measures extraterritorially implemented and announced yesterday, June 27th, 2019, by the US Government, as one of its most cynical decisions.
So blatant is the above supremacist Government that it planned and led attacks against the National Electric System in Venezuela during the month of March, as part of a hybrid war operation seeking to overthrow the Venezuelan Constitutional Government. Now, it tries to hide its direct responsibility for the abovementioned acts of sabotage, by announcing illegal measures against respectable former officials of the People’s Power Ministry for Electrical Energy.
The Bolivarian Government of Venezuela reiterates that restrictions, arbitrarily and painfully imposed by Washington on economic and humanitarian issues, are a flagrant violation of the International Law and the most basic commitments resulting from and in conformity with the signing of the United Nations Organization’s Charter (UN).
In this sense, the Venezuelan State shall take firm actions in order for Trump’s Administration to render account before the international community and its institutions, as a result of the confessed offenses executed in recent months against the People of Venezuela, its democracy ant institutions.
