The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, on behalf of the Venezuelan people and government, expresses to the Government and people of the Russian Federation, his warmest words of congratulations for the great event of having registered for the first time in the world, a vaccine to fight the disease caused by SARS-Cov2 (COVID-19.
This is a new milestone in the field of science and medicine, whereby the Government and people of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela support this Russian initiative, as it is the only one that has passed all the necessary tests and its application will allow for stable immunity to the virus, thus benefiting the global community. We therefore hope that this medicine will soon be widely available, so that we can effectively overcome this pandemic situation affecting the international community.
The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela reiterates its recognition of the work and efforts of the Russian people, and thanks its authorities for this new contribution to humanity.
