The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro Moros, on behalf of the Venezuelan people and Bolivarian government, expresses his heartfelt condolences and his sincere words of solidarity to the people and government of the French Republic, on the occasion of the terrorist attack that took place yesterday, December 11, 2018, in the city of Strasbourg.
This unfortunate act of terrorist violence against the defenseless civilian population, which has caused the death of at least four people and a dozen wounded at different levels of severity and mourned the French people, to whom the Venezuelan people wish to extend their supportive embrace and convey their heartfelt words of comfort to the families of the victims and their prayers for the early recovery of the wounded.
Venezuela agrees with all the peoples of the world on the principle that peace must be the only path and destiny of humanity.
