President Maduro holds a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, Keith Rowley
Today, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros and the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, Keith Rowley, held a telephone conversation, during which the President conveyed to the Prime Minister his congratulations on the recent electoral victory that revalidates him for a new term in office.
The two leaders exchanged experiences on their health care policies in the face of the expansion of the COVID-19 pandemic and committed themselves to coordinating their policies in this regard, both bilaterally and multilaterally.
Likewise, within the framework of good-neighborliness between both countries, they exchanged views on several issues on the bilateral agenda, highlighting matters related to trade exchange, as well as security policy, on which the leaders agreed to remain in close coordination.
The Heads of Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago agreed to maintain comprehensive coordination between their governments at the highest level, as well as deepen the historic bilateral relationship and to strengthen the integration mechanisms of Latin America and the Caribbean.
