The People’s Power Minister for Foreign Relations, Jorge Arreaza, suggested on Monday to the new foreign minister of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, Francisco Bustillo, “to avoid ideologizing his country’s foreign policy by affinities”, in response to the accusation made by the diplomat when presenting the lines that his administration will follow that there is a dictatorship in Venezuela.
Through a message on his Twitter account @jaarreaza, the Venezuelan Foreign Minister also recommended his Uruguayan counterpart to refresh his knowledge of the principles of International Law and study the Constitutional Law of Venezuela.

The Vice-minister for Multilateral Issues of the People’s Power Ministry for Foreign Relations, Alexander Yánez, participated this Wednesday in the telematic discussion “Unilateral coercive measures against Venezuela and International Law”, in which he succinctly explained the illegal nature of the misnamed sanctions, their impact on society, the economy and the human rights of peoples who are victims of this genocidal and imperial policy.
“No matter what you do -Elliott Abrams-, in Venezuela the conscience of the people will prevail, the sacred light that our Commander –Hugo- Chávez left us, that is the truth of Venezuela, working every day against unfair attacks and criticism, working with our own resources”.
On the 1st Ibero-America Day, on July 19, the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela reaffirms his commitment “to turning the historical, cultural common grounds binding us together into a tool of unity and development based on dialogue, cooperation and solidarity” in line with the goals of the Ibero-American community.
In November 2019, the UN General Assembly declared July 18 Nelson Mandela International Day in recognition of the former president of South Africa’s “contribution to the culture of peace and freedom”.
