Venezuelan Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza held a meeting on Saturday with former Panamanian President Martin Torrijos in La Paz to exchange their views about the regional and international geopolitical context.
The Venezuelan diplomat and the former president of Panama arrived in the Plurinational State of Bolivia to attend the inauguration of President-elect Luis Arce.
Venezuelan Vice-ministers for Multilateral Affairs, Alexander Yánez, and for Latin America, Rander Peña, also attended the meeting.
Former President Martín Torrijos and former Prime Minister of Spain, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, have promoted and accompanied the process of dialogue in recent years between the Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and opposition sectors to resolve their political disputes through constitutional means.
