Minister of People’s Power for Foreign Affairs, Jorge Arreaza, condemned on Monday the terrorist attacks registered in central Vienna, Austria, that have left two people dead and more than a dozen wounded.
“Venezuela rejects terror and promotes peace. The healthy coexistence and respect among brothers and sisters from all religions anywhere in the world. Our condolences to the families of the victims and those wounded,” wrote the Venezuelan diplomat on his Twitter account @jaarreaza.
The Austrian police informed the attacks took place in six different locations, all of them near the Seitenstettengasse synagogue.
Vienna, with a population of nearly 2 million, is one of the headquarters of the United Nations and other international organizations such as the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).
