The Venezuelan Minister for Foreign Relations, through his Twitter account @jaarreaza, reported that they also analyzed the world environment, characterized by the health crisis derived from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Likewise, both diplomats agreed on the need to join efforts to strengthen multilateralism and respect for International Law, in the face of the claims of imperialist countries to impose a trend towards unilateralism in international forums.
Diplomatic relations between the two nations date back to 1987, strengthening since the arrival to power of Commander Hugo Chávez Frías, a political direction that President Nicolás Maduro maintains and deepens.
