On Thursday, the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Caracas handed out a donation of medical supplies brought by Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu in his recent visit to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
The donation was received by Vice-minister of Resources, Technology and Regulation of the Ministry of People’s Power for Health, Gerardo Briceño, and includes reactive agents for COVID-19 laboratory tests, PCR test kits, and Virocult, a tool used to take samples.
The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the Republic of Turkey endorsed on Tuesday different cooperation agreements in areas such as economy, university education, culture, and health.

On the other hand, Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu said his government was pleased at the achievements made by the strategic alliance within the framework of the 70th anniversary of relations between Venezuela and Turkey.
