President of Palestine sends letter of congratulations to the Venezuelan people on the commemoration of their independence
On July 5, the President of the State of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, addressed a letter to congratulate the Venezuelan people and government on the commemoration of the 209 years of their independence.

We are pleased to address, Your Excellency, on behalf of the State of Palestine, its people and on my own, to extend to you and, through you, to your government and the friendly Venezuelan people our most sincere congratulations on the occasion of the Independence Day, wishing you the abundance of health and happiness, and the continuity of prosperity and development for your nation and people.
Likewise, we pray for health and safety for both of our peoples and for all peoples of the world in the face of the coronavirus pandemic.
Always expressing our pride in the achievements of friendship and mutual appreciation that unite our peoples and countries, and highly appreciating your positions of solidarity and support for our people and our just cause to achieve our legitimate right to freedom, independence and sovereignty over our Palestinian land with East Jerusalem as its capital.
