NAM must become the axis of the new world geopolitics of cooperation in favor of the peoples

Under values ​​of cooperation and solidarity, the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) must become the axis of the new world geopolitics after the Covid-19 pandemic, said the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro. “A new geopolitics that rejects threats of the use of force, economic blackmail, unilateral sanctions, the fight for control of primary energy sources, the war of conquest and state terrorism”, he emphasized during his participation in the Virtual Summit of Heads of State and Government of the NAM. He indicated that the Bandung principles, adopted in 1955, are in force in the historical moment that the world is going through because of the new Coronavirus, since it gathers the clamor for peace, cooperation, world support and solidarity of humanity. “This is the time for the Movement of Non-Aligned Countries, to grow in the United Nations System, to make leaps and bounds for a new world geopolitics. From Venezuela we say ‘yes, another world can be made’ and we are showing it”, he pointed out. The Dignitary thanked the support given by the Member States of the NAM to the fight he is undertaking against the unilateral coercive measures of the United States administration.
