The Presidential Commission for the Prevention of Coronavirus Covid-19, held a meeting with representatives of the United Nations Organization (UN) System and the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) accredited in the country, as part of cooperation with international entities in order to strengthen the planning of measures to control the spread of this pandemic.
In compliance with the guidelines of the President, Nicolás Maduro, the Executive Vice-president of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, heads this meeting, with the aim of strengthening cooperation ties with the UN and other multilateral health organizations, in order to break with the transmission chain of the Covid-19 in the country, and allow the population to continue their daily tasks under a relative and supervised normality.
The Bolivarian Government has received important recommendations on what should be done to stop and control this infection, in addition to the recognition that the World Health Organization / Pan American Health Organization (WHO / PAHO) and the UN have given to the measures implemented by the National Executive for the protection of the people.
