President Maduro: We are ready and prepared for international cooperation

“The Bolivarian Government of Venezuela, chaired by Nicolás Maduro Moros, is ready to dialogue, understand each other and reach a humanitarian agreement to deal with this terrifying pandemic due to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) and give our people the health they need”, confirmed the Head of State and Government, Nicolás Maduro, during the assessment of the strategies implemented by the National Executive for the containment and prevention of the respiratory infection. He stated that in the framework of the Covid-19 pandemic, we must “put politics and the ideological battle aside and prioritize the health of the people”. “I ratify to national and international political actors all our will to move towards humanitarian agreements to alleviate the pandemic in Venezuela and the world”. He pointed out to those who have sent him private messages through the Vice-president of Communication, Culture and Tourism, Jorge Rodríguez, his response is one: “We are ready and prepared for international cooperation, humanitarian aid, putting politicization on one side and putting the human being at the center”. For his part, Rodríguez pointed out that from March 9 until Saturday, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, has called on ten occasions for dialogue for the well-being of the health of the Venezuelan people, without social distinctions.
