Venezuelan Parliament proposals to confront Covid-19 will be submitted to President Maduro
The Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of Covid-19, received this Thursday from the president of the National Assembly (AN), Luis Parra, a set of proposals containing the issues concerning the fight against the Coronavirus, which will be submitted to the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro.
“They will be handed over to President Nicolás Maduro for their evaluation and for their incorporation into the set of actions that we are developing as a country, as a whole Nation to face this terrible pandemic that affects humanity today”, he said.
The Vice-president of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, reported on the meeting of the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of Covid-19 with the President of the National Assembly (AN) and its board of directors.
This meeting – recalled the Vice-president from the Miraflores Palace – arose from a proposal by the Venezuelan Parliament at the recent meeting of the State Council convened by President Nicolás Maduro, to exercise joint actions to face the pandemic and to the threats by the Donald Trump administration from which Venezuela is a victim today.
