Six new positive cases of Covid-19 have been detected in Venezuela in the last 24 hours, geographically located in the states; Miranda, Capital District, Bolívar, Aragua and Yaracuy, informed the Executive Vice-president of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, offering a balance of the strategies implemented by the National Executive for the containment of the Coronavirus in the country. Of the 135 confirmed cases, 10 are in private clinics, 18 in sentinel hospitals, 21 in Comprehensive Diagnostic Centers (CDI), 47 in home isolation, and 39 are already recovered. The Vice-president pointed out that the health system is carrying out a mass screening to 50,000 people who entered Venezuela during March. “All these people who entered Venezuela, a universe of approximately 50 thousand people have been contacted through a text message where they are told that they must go to perform the rapid test”, he reported. Likewise, he urged the people of Venezuela to maintain the collective social quarantine to avoid community transmission. “It is important that we maintain these measures to maintain the flattened contagion curve in Venezuela”. Personalized attention Regarding the expanded screening of COVID-19, she detailed that 16 million 129 thousand 12 people have completed the health survey available on the Patria platform. Of the total, 49 thousand 853 people have received personalized attention from health personnel. Rodríguez specified that 61 thousand 859 people remain to visit.
