Covid-19 Presidential Commission for Prevention evaluates pandemic containment protocols
The Presidential Commission for the Prevention, Attention and Control of Coronavirus (Covid-19) evaluates the protocols for containing the pandemic that plagues more than 155 countries.
From the Miraflores Palace, this commission led by the Vice-president, Delcy Rodríguez, strengthens strategies to mitigate the spread of Covid-19 in Venezuelan territory, through the collective social quarantine; the expanded and personalized screening plan; preventive and curative medicine and hospital capacity for case care.
The National Executive has arranged the necessary mechanisms for the protection of the Venezuelan people. These safety devices are endorsed by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO).
So far, Venezuela registers 119 positive cases of Covid-19, which is why the National Government strengthens its relations with international organizations and the governments of the People’s Republic of China, Cuba and the Russian Federation to cut the chain of propagation of the virus.
