Bolivarian Government stands in solidarity with the American people before the spread of Covid-19

“From here we stand in solidarity with the people of the United States who have become the epicenter of this terrible pandemic and that undoubtedly places our continent at an epidemiological and fatal risk”. This was stated by the Executive Vice-president of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, who demonstrated the solidarity of the National Government towards the American people in the presence of this pandemic. During the arrival of this second shipment of tests and medical supplies from the People’s Republic of China, Rodríguez rejected the criminal blockade by Donald Trump in order to put Venezuelan territory in chaos. “We reject again the criminal blockade against Venezuela and highlight the spirit of solidarity, friendship and brotherhood that the People’s Republic of China has with the countries of the world”, she said. The Bolivarian Government and the United Nations (UN) system are currently reinforcing the planning and coordination of the measures taken by the Head of State, with the purpose of guaranteeing the health, tranquility and peace of the country before the presence of this pandemic. Venezuela and China expose health plans to Covid-19 The Executive Vice-president detailed this Saturday from Ramp 4 of the Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía, that the Venezuelan people will receive medical supplies and medicines through the air bridge with the Chinese Republic to face this virus that affects all humanity. “As we had announced and it is already a reality, thanks to the airlift with the People’s Republic of China, Venezuela can obtain supplies, medicines and equipment to face the Covid-19”, he said. In this sense, Rodríguez stressed that the National Government will continue to inform the Venezuelan people of the arrival of these supplies to the nation, which reinforces preventive measures for the protection of the country. “We will keep reporting as shipments will be arriving in our country”, stressed the Vice-president.
