The number of patients recovered from Coronavirus in Venezuela rises to 31

The Executive Vice-president of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, reported on Thursday that the number of patients recovered in Venezuela rose to 31 after contracting Coronavirus (Covid-19), which represents 29% of all positive cases in the country. After a meeting with the Presidential Commission for the Prevention of Covid-19 at the Miraflores Palace, Rodríguez indicated that the number of people recovered is thanks to the preventive measures taken by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, to prevent the spread of this virus throughout the national territory.
“Venezuela began to act from day 1, while there are countries like the US that acted very late; 10, 20 days after the virus had spread widely and is now affecting the American people due to the irresponsibility of its government not to take effective measures, but to think first about capital and then about people”, said the Vice-president.
Given this, Rodríguez noted that “Americans are being affected by the private health system where not everyone has access to medical care, but in the case of Coronavirus it has a cost of care per patient of $ 35,000”. While the Government led by President Donald Trump focuses its efforts on attacking free and sovereign countries, the Bolivarian Government of Venezuela prioritizes the health and tranquility of its people, in the face of the consequences of the presence of Covid-19 in the country.
