President Maduro denounces the censorship of social networks accounts of the Venezuelan State
The constitutional president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, denounced the massive censorship of some official accounts of the Venezuelan State by the administration of the social network Twitter.
“Censorship against official accounts has increased; It is an irrational thing, it has no explanation”, he said.
The National President denounced that this Sunday, March 22, his Twitter account @NicolasMaduro was censored, after publishing “a set of naturopathic proposals to strengthen the human immune system”.
Last January, more than three thousand institutional and personal accounts linked to the Bolivarian Revolution were arbitrarily suspended by the US company, thus violating the right to information of users of the aforementioned social network.
Among the accounts that have been recently blocked by Twitter are those of the Executive Vice-president of the Republic, @DrodriguezVen; People’s Power Minister for Agriculture, Wilmar Castro Soteldo (@wcastroPSUV); the governor of Aragua, Rodolfo Marcos Torres (@RMarcoTorres) and that of the holder of the Transport portfolio, Hipólito Abreu (@tupamarohipolit).
