The new ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam accredited in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Le Viet Duyen, paid honors on Tuesday to the sarcophagus that holds the remains of the liberator Simón Bolívar, located in the National Pantheon, in Caracas.
During the ceremony, Ambassador Le Viet Duyen was accompanied by the diplomatic corps and the Vice-minister for Asia, the Middle East and Oceania of the People’s Power Ministry for Foreign Relations, Rubén Darío Molina.
Yesterday the diplomatic representative presented credentials to the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, in an act that was preceded by the delivery of the copies of credentials to Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza, as part of the accreditation protocol.
It should be noted that Venezuela and Veitnam maintain close cooperation relationships with more than 64 agreements, translated into 19 mutual development projects.
