High school students in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines learn about the events of February 4, 1992
The Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines through the Venezuelan Institute for Culture and Cooperation ‘Hugo Chávez Frías’ held a pleasant conference aimed at fifth-year high school students in order to sensitize young people on the legacy of Commander Hugo Chávez, in the context of the celebration of the 28th Anniversary of the Military Rebellion led by Commander Hugo Chavez on February 4, 1992 and National Dignity Day.
The head of the Venezuelan diplomatic mission in the Caribbean country, Francisco Pérez Santana, presented the philosophical and political conception of the revolutionary deed led by Commander Chávez on February 4, 1992:
«The 4F meant the beginning of the deep study of our history. With Chavez, the Venezuelan people began to rediscover and resignify our philosophical, social and educational roots of Ezequiel Zamora, Simón Rodríguez and Simón Bolívar. We begin to meet our identity, our cultural values and principles such as solidarity, loyalty, we begin to rewrite our own history with the country codes, with the Bolivarian codes and with the emancipatory philosophical conceptions that define us today as a people» .
Inspired by this historic moment, Pérez emphasized the ways and methods that the Venezuelan government and people have designed to combat and resist the permanent attacks that the Trump administration has directed against the country, by imposing coercive and unilateral criminal sanctions against the Bolivarian nation.
For her part, the Academic Coordinator of the IVCC, the professor, Andreína Bermúdez, presented the multilateral integration projects that the government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela have, as a sign of the validity of integrationist and unity thinking Latin American and Caribbean led by Commander Chávez and continued by President Maduro.
