President Nicolás Maduro held a meeting with former Spanish president Rodríguez Zapatero

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, receives the former president of Spain, José Luís Rodríguez Zapatero, at the Miraflores Palace on Friday afternoon. In this meeting the first combatant, Cilia Flores, the Vice-president of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez Gómez, People’s Power Minister for the Office of the Presidency and Monitoring of Government Management, Jorge Márquez, accompanied the Head of State. It is important to highlight that the former Spanish president expressed his support for the dialogue table in September 2019, when he considered this initiative as something “very positive”. For the year 2016 at the end of October, the National Dialogue Table was installed in which Zapatero participated as an international mediator to dismantle hatred and establish peace in the South American nation.
