Venezuela finishes its participation in Fitur 2020 in Spain
With important business conferences and investment plans for Venezuela, the International Tourism Fair of Spain (Fitur) 2020 culminated this Sunday, said the People’s Power Minister for Tourism and Foreign Trade, Félix Plasencia.
“We had very important business conferences; airlines that are committed to Venezuela, since connectivity for both the tourism business and for commerce is essential. We have had meetings with entrepreneurs who put their chances for Venezuela and we are going to build that growth path worthy, with responsibility”, said Plasencia from Madrid, on Venezuelan television broadcast.
He explained that the stand of Venezuela in the Fitur 2020 received constant visits from the Spanish public and tourists, who enjoyed “Venezuelan coffee, rum and our chocolate”.
The president of the Autonomous Intellectual Property Service (Sapi), Alberto Rey, said that in the tourism event, in which more than 160 countries participated, Venezuela showed its “national brands that strengthen the productive apparatus, in order to diversify the economy”.
“We have to show the world all the services we can offer in terms of tourism, from a commercial point of view”, he said.
The International Tourism Fair of Spain was attended by 10,487 companies from 165 countries and regions, as well as 142,642 professionals and 110,848 visitors.
This event constitutes an important touristic showcase to strengthen agreements signed in the matter.
