Venezuela presents in Madrid a Multy-destination panorama in FiTur 2020

The International Tourism Fair (FiTur) 2020 opens its doors in Madrid, Spain, from January 22 to 26, being one of the most representative events in the tourism industry worldwide, with more than 918 exhibitors and representation from 165 countries. This year, the international meeting organization celebrates its 40th anniversary with a growth of renewed content. Adventure and nature tourism will be the main axes around which tourism promotion in FiTur 2020 will revolve. South Korea will be the guest country. Every year, the Madrid fair promotes a country or a destination by making it an “associated country”, which allows it to obtain a special promotion. Coinciding with the 40th anniversary of Fitur, 70 years of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Korea and Spain are celebrated. It is estimated that more than 600,000 Koreans visited Spain in 2019, a surprising fact given the size of the population of Korea and its geographical location so far from this European country.
