On Tuesday, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, decreed the sale of 4.5 million barrels of oil in Petro.
The head of State explained that the 4.5 million barrels of crude oil to be offered in the aforementioned cryptocurrency will come from a certified reserve of 30 million barrels maintained by Petróleos de Venezuela (PDVSA).
Maduro said that if the sale is completed, the regular offer in Petros of 50 thousand barrels per day must be started.
Similarly, he stressed that this is a vital goal for Petro consolidation, during his appearance before the National Constituent Assembly (ANC).
Likewise, the Dignitary signed a decree for the sale in Petro of gasoline destined for international air routes acquired through the state oil company PDVSA.
“I decree the sale in Petro, for now on, of all the gasoline that PDVSA sells for airplanes that covers international air routes”, said the President.
In that order of ideas, he approved the sale of one million tons of briquetted iron in Petro, by the Venezuelan Corporation of Guyana.
In joint radio and television transmission, the National President explained that these actions are part of the second phase and process of cryptocurrency expansion, which is backed by the country’s hydrocarbons and other natural resources.
