Juan Carlos Aleman warns from UN-Geneva that Bachelet report maintains high political bias against Venezuela

The president of the National Commission for Refugees (Conare) Juan Carlos Alemán, stressed that this Wednesday is the first World Forum on Refugees in the Organization for the United Nations, in Geneva, Switzerland. “The report of the High Commissioner continues to have a high political bias, a political nuance that forces her to grant imperialism to continue applying unilateral coercive measures against the country, but we will continue working”, he said. In an interview with Esther Quiaro, to the Al Instante program, in Unión Radio, indicated that Venezuela expresses its concern about the sanctions imposed by the United States government in the country. “We have shown the advances in the matter, but we have demanded that in this forum the voice be raised against criminal and illegal unilateral coercive measures, but if we don’t attack the causes, we can never cease the situation”. Referring to the intervention of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Michelle Bachelet, questioned the double standards. “Nothing is said about the massive violation of human rights in Chile, the massacres in Bolivia, or the abuse of power in Ecuador, but it does focus on a free and sovereign government like Venezuela’s”, he said.
