Gastronomy and tourism star in celebration of the 33rd anniversary of diplomatic relations between Angola and Venezuela

With a gastronomic show and an exhibition of Venezuelan tourist attractions, the spaces of the Dr. Antonio Agostinho Neto Memorial in Luanda, welcomed on Wednesday the celebrations of the 33rd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Venezuela and Angola. The activity, organized by the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Angola, by Marlon Peña Labrador, is part of the government’s agenda of President Nicolás Maduro to promote the gastronomic quality and potential of Venezuelan tourism among the most important sectors of Angolan society, as a way of reaffirming the disposition and interest of the South American nation in expanding cooperation with Angola. The Kaposoka Musical Orchestra, whose students have received training from the “Simón Bolívar” Children and Youth Orchestras System of Venezuela, was present to delight those invited, with representatives of the Angolan Executive, businessmen, community of Venezuelans, with their repertoire, social media, members of the diplomatic corps accredited in Angola and the general public. Venezuela and Angola established diplomatic relations on December 9, 1986, being the stage of the Bolivarian Revolution in which bilateral cooperation has gained dynamism with the signing of agreements and the implementation of joint initiatives, with a view to economic diversification and in favor of the well-being of the peoples of both countries. Likewise, the pair of nations develop their bilateral relations on the basis of respect for sovereignty, international law, the Charter of the United Nations and self-determination as a way to contribute to the construction of a harmonious world with lasting peace and common prosperity.
