Foreign Minister Arreaza on leaked audios: Colombia reveals how and who conspires against Venezuela

“They have been claiming from Colombia that Chavismo destabilizes the region for years, they present false evidence even at the UN. Meanwhile, in the leaked conversation between the new Foreign Minister, Claudia Blum and her ambassador to the United States, Francisco Santos Calderón, they confess how and with whom they conspire to destabilize Venezuela”, said the Peoples Power Minister for Foreign Relations, Jorge Arreaza, through his Twitter account @jaarreaza.

The controversial conversation of both Colombian politicians, held in Washington DC, and leaked on Wednesday by a Colombian media, not only exposes the conspiracies with various sectors to overthrow the legitimate government of President Nicolás Maduro, but also reaffirms the relentless desire of the government of Colombia to keep this issue in the ears of the White House spokesmen for interference and destabilizing purposes.

“It’s my turn to invent things so that they keep Venezuela in their minds. That is the task I am in”, said the Colombian Ambassador.

In this sense, the Venezuelan diplomat reaffirmed that there is no point in believing that Colombian diplomatic practice can be recomposed.

In the conversation, while Ambassador Francisco Santos tells his Foreign Minister that the subject Venezuela “is a little stopped”, she says that it is indeed, and the diplomat adds that he is prepared to reactivate it by taking European parliamentarians to the Colombian border with Venezuela to put the internal affairs of Venezuela back in the “top of mind” of the US government.

For her part, the Colombian diplomat says that the solution is definitely not the military coup because the military would not betray President Nicolás Maduro.

The Colombian Ambassador also explains that the United States Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) is not getting into the country either.

“The only thing I see is to use covert actions in there, to generate noise and support the opposition that is very lonely there”, he adds.

However, Claudia Blum, worried mentions that “Colombia has to play it, because as it is, we are late about Venezuela. People no longer believe. That humanitarian aid was a total failure. So you have to think about a strategy”, she revealed.
