Venezuela and the UN Office for Humanitarian Affairs review humanitarian technical assistance plan

The Foreign Minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, met on Monday with Mark Lowcock, Vice-general secretary of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) and Emergency Relief Coordinator. During this high-level meeting, which took place in Caracas, the humanitarian technical assistance plan was reviewed, as well as the policies of the United Nations (UN) agencies. It should be noted that last September, both officials held a meeting at the UN headquarters in New York, which was framed within the seventy-fourth session of the multilateral agency. Foreign Minister Arreaza was accompanied by the Vice-minister for Multilateral Affairs of the People’s Power Ministry for Foreign Relations, Alexander Yánez and the General Secretary of the National Human Rights Council of Venezuela, Larry Devoe.
