Venezuela and the NAM Center for Cultural Diversity and Human Rights enhance the multiculturalism of the peoples

In the framework of the XVIII Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), which takes place in Baku, Azerbaijan, this Thursday, the Vice-minister for Asia, the Middle East and Oceania of the People’s Power Ministry for Foreign Relations, Rubén Darío Molina, held a meeting with Ali Pourghassab Amiri, director of the NAM Center for Cultural Diversity and Human Rights, an entity located in the Islamic Republic of Iran. This meeting was held with the purpose of promoting cultural diversity policies and human rights. Last July, an important seminar on “Human Rights and Cultural Diversity” was held in Caracas, in which both officials were part of a specialized panel that addressed the multiculturalism of the peoples, as well as respect for cultural diversity and to international law. Similarly, Vice-minister Molina said that the NAM must keep fighting the colonizing mechanisms that insist on imposing themselves in the world and that have met with the resistance of the peoples.
