Venezuela and Azerbaijan strengthen bilateral relations

This Wednesday, in the framework of the Ministerial Meeting prior to the XVIII Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), which takes place in Baku, Azerbaijan, the Foreign Minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, held a bilateral meeting with his counterpart from the Republic of Azerbaijan, Elmar Mammadyarov. The meeting was about the next presidency of Azerbaijan at the NAM for the period 2019-2022. FM Arreaza offered all the support and made available all the experience accumulated in the presidency of the agency. The Venezuelan Foreign Minister also expressed full assurance that the Republic of Azerbaijan will face the presidency of the multilateral agency with leadership and determination. The diplomats exchanged views on the diplomatic relations of both nations, as well as discussed mutual cooperation.
