Venezuela prepares comprehensive cooperation agreement with FAO
The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) are working on the development of a comprehensive cooperation agreement in order to strengthen the country’s food plans, President Nicolás Maduro reported.
During a productive day, from the state of La Guaira, the Head of State said that it consists on “a financial-food technical assistance to strengthen Venezuela in this time of sanctions, blockade and economic aggression”.
“We are in talks with the FAO World Food Program”, he said.
In that line and on the occasion of World Food Day, celebrated on Wednesday, the Dignitary mentioned that the Local Supply and Production Committees (CLAP), the School Feeding Program (PAE) and the feeding houses will continue to be strengthened, as well as the food production processes and “care programs of our people, which only Venezuela has”.
