Venezuela will present to the UN evidence of Duque’s protection to terrorist groups
In reference to a message published by Executive Vice-president Delcy Rodríguez Gómez, through her Twitter account @DrodriguezVen, the People’s Power Minister for Foreign Relations, Jorge Arreaza, confirmed that they will present the evidence to the United Nations Organization (UN) that corroborate the support that the president of Colombia, Iván Duque, offers to terrorist groups with the intention of provoking acts of violence in Venezuela.
In his Twitter account @jaarreaza, the Venezuelan Foreign Minister denounced that this protection of the Colombian president to irregular groups violates Resolution 1,373 of the UN Security Council.

The aforementioned resolution, unanimously aprooved in 2001, declares that acts of international terrorism constitute one of the most serious threats to world peace and security in the 21st century, and that acts of terrorism constitute a challenge for all States and for all mankind, while reaffirming the condemnation of the UN to all acts, methods and practices of terrorism.
Vice-president Rodriguez wrote that the Bolivarian Government of President Nicolás Maduro will present to the highest multilateral body the proves involving President Duque with violent, armed and trained groups in his country, to destabilize and sow terror in Venezuelan territory.

This Saturday, the Vice-president of Communication, Culture and Tourism, Jorge Rodríguez, showed new evidence of terrorist actions that from Colombia were preparing against Venezuela, by arresting a Colombian-Venezuelan citizen with explosive material, which he intended to detonate in the Palace of Justice, the Special Action Forces (FAES) in Cotiza, and Block 40 of 23 de Enero, in Caracas.
