Sri Lankan political parties and social organizations join the #NoMoreTrump global campaign
During a visit to the Socialist Democratic Republic of Sri Lanka, and within the framework of the global campaign #NoMoreTrump, # NoMásTrump, the Vice-minister for Asia, the Middle East and Oceania of the People’s Power Ministry for Foreign Relations, Rubén Darío Molina, and the Deputies of the Popular Liberation Front, Bimal Rathnayake and Sunil Handuneththi, held a fraternal meeting conducive to take stock of the activities carried out in the Asian country in rejection of the economic blockade formalized by the US government.
Also present were the Secretary of International Relations of the Popular Liberation Front and a member of the Union of Socialist Youth, Anjana Amaresthega, and the national organizer of the Union of Socialist Students, Rangana Depraviya.
From the headquarters of the political party, the Sri Lankan authorities presented images to the Venezuelan diplomat about the different demonstrations organized by social and student movements in support of the Bolivarian Revolution.
“I want to express our full support for the struggle of the Venezuelan people for their sovereignty. We ask the countries of the world to support this campaign to support Venezuela in its struggle to save its development model”, said deputy Bimal Rathnayake.
At the end of the meeting, the deputies and members of the Popular Liberation Front of Sri Lanka stamped their signature on the global protest card against the economic blockade imposed on the Venezuelan people.
