Venezuela and Russia fight against aggressions of imperial governments

The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, held a meeting with the Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation, Sergey Lavrov, from spaces of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Moscow, in order to strengthen bonds of brotherhood and cooperation between Both nations.

During this meeting, Rodríguez highlighted the gratitude on the part of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros and the venezuelan people, for the solidarity that the Eurasian Government has shown with the homeland in the face of interventionist aggressions.

“Here we are honored to be present again in this sister nation. I bring the personal thanks of President Nicolás Maduro to his counterpart Vladimir Putin, the Russian government and its country for the support you give to the Venezuelan people”, She said.

In that regard, the Executive Vice President stood out that Russia is fighting in the world for freedom, repudiating foreign interference by the government of the United States (USA) towards free and independent states.

“Russia has drawn the sword of all peoples that fight for independence and sovereignty in the world battle for freedom. In this case, we know that it defends the principles of the Bolivarian Revolution”, She said.

For his part, Foreign Minister Lavrov said that the Russian administration will continue to defend the principles of international law to protect the Venezuelan people.

“We will continue to defend the principles of international law and continue fighting against illegal actions of oppression and blackmail that want to harm the country”, He said.

During her stay, the Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, was accompanied by the Minister of the Popular Power of Economy and Finance, Simón Zerpa, the Vice Minister for Europe of the Ministry of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs (Mppre), Yván Gil and the Vice President of the Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV), Sohail Hernandez

It is important to highlight that Vice President Rodríguez is visiting Moscow with the purpose of continuing to strengthen the strategic ties between both sister countries, as part of the Bolivarian Peace Diplomacy promoted by Commander Hugo Chavez and carried out by President Maduro.
