President Maduro: Not even with a million sanctions will the US stop the CLAP

“I tell the lords of the empire that not even with a million sanctions will the Local Supply and Production Committee (CLAP) be stoped”, said the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, before the illegal imposition of sanctions against persons and entities linked to the social program.

From the Miraflores Palace, located in Caracas, he pointed out that the actions undertaken by the US administration denote “despair” due to the reach of the CLAP, a strategy deployed with the purpose of guaranteeing access to food with affordable prices.

“Imperialist gentlemen prepare for new defeats because the CLAP in Venezuela continue. The CLAP are for the people and nobody takes it away, it is a right of the people”, he emphasized.

The Head of State said that the CLAP is a conquest of the people, a right that must be gradually strengthened through the increase in national production.

“I have great faith and I am very optimistic that with national production we will guarantee CLAP”, he added.

He affirmed that there is no aggression that stops the progress of Venezuelans in its way of food sovereignty, which is why he instructed to deepen production plans in the short, medium and long term.

“There is no difficulty, there is no aggression, there is nothing to stop us in this strengh and passion that we have within”, said the Dignitary.
