Ambassador of Venezuela presents credentials to the President of Kazakhstan
On Friday, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, received the credentials of the designated ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to that Asian nation, Enrique Antonio Acuña Mendoza.
During the ceremony, the Venezuelan diplomat congratulated the Kazakh leader for his recent presidential re-election on June 9.
“I would like to wish the new government and the people of Kazakhstan peace, progress and wellbeing in the new historic period in which they embarked”, said Ambassador Acuña.
The diplomatic representative of Venezuela in Kazakhstan emphasized that bilateral relations have been strengthened in recent years due to the mutual recognition and common use of the values and principles of international law outlined in the Charter of the United Nations, to join efforts to guarantee peace in the whole world.
“The key objective of our mission in Kazakhstan is to deepen political, social, and economic cooperation among governments, to consolidate friendship and solidarity among nations”, he added.
