Foreign Minister Arreaza concludes visit to Rome with important meetings

The Foreign Minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, held a fruitful meeting on Wednesday in Rome with the Executive Director of the World Food Program of the United Nations (UN), David Beasley.

The meeting allowed an evaluation between the parties about the next actions of the joint work agenda.

Minister Arreaza and the director of the United Nations World Food Program met last March on an official visit by the Venezuelan diplomat to the Italian capital.

Government of Venezuela ratifies commitment to dialogue

Prior to the meeting with the director of the World Food Program, the People’s Power Minister for Foreign Relations met with Monsignor Paul Richard Gallagher, secretary for Relations with the States of the Vatican.

During the talks, the Venezuelan Foreign Minister confirmed the will of the National Executive to maintain the path of dialogue to consolidate the peace of the Latin American country.

With these meetings concluded the visit of the Venezuelan Foreign Minister to Rome, where he spoke Tuesday in the High Level Segment of the 41st Conference of the United Nations Organization for Food and Agriculture (FAO).
