After the recent visit of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Michelle Bachelet, to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, on Sunday the People’s Power Minister for Foreign Relations, Jorge Arreaza, said that this visit represents a great step for the promotion, guarantee and defense of human rights in the country.
“The visit of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights @mbachelet, represents an important step to strengthen cooperation with your Office, based on mutual respect and joint work for the promotion, guarantee and defense of human rights in Venezuela” , said Chancellor Arreaza.

With this approach, the Venezuelan State is moving towards a fluid cooperation relationship for the human rights of all Venezuelans.
It should be noted that for three days the High Commissioner fulfilled an important work agenda, where she held meetings with representatives of the Public Powers of Venezuela and the Bolivarian Government, as well as with President Nicolás Maduro Moros, who exposed the consequences of unilateral coercive measures imposed by the United States government.
