Vice President Istúriz and Vice-Prime Minister of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea meet in Nigeria

A bilateral meeting held on Wednesday in Abuja the sectoral Vice-president of Social and Territorial Development of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Aristóbulo Istúriz, and the Vice-Prime Minister of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Ri Ryong-nam. The Venezuelan Vice-president reaffirmed, during the meeting the bonds of friendship that unite the two countries, while the high office of the Asian country ratified the support of his nation to the resistance of the people of Venezuela. The meeting took place in the margins of the celebration of the Day of the Democracy in the Federal Republic of Nigeria, that inaugurates the second period of government of the president Muhammadu Buhari and the vice-president Yemi Osinbajo. At the end of 2018, Caracas and Pyongyang gave a boost to their bilateral relations during a meeting held at the United Nations (UN) by foreign ministers Jorge Arreaza and Ri Yong-Ho, in the framework of the 73rd session of the Assembly General of the organism.
